On the farm, Ken's goal is to maintain the balance of nature in his land through the practice of organic farming.
Ken manages this balance through the use of compost, cover crops between rows of trees, and organic sprays. He also relies on beneficial insects and encourages natural rodent control.
Ken practices stewardship of the land and has set aside five acres for wildlife habitat to encourage and support the ecological balance of his home and shared habitat.
